Clary jerked her head back, and glared at him. "I am fine Ben. It doesn't matter what's more important to you anyways. You belong to her and she tells you want to do. I don't need you any more Ben. Leave me alone."

Ben refused to let her go. "Clary, I mean it. I'm sorry I'm stuck with her and I'm doing my best to work it out, but it's not something that can be done with a snap of the fingers." he said quietly. "You're not fine. I've known you long enough to know this."

Clary's arms tightened around Tammy slightly. "Just leave me alone Ben," she said quietly. "We aren't together anymore, and you can't make everything fine again. I'm doing the best I can, and I'm handling things. Go get on with your life of servitude and leave me alone."

Ben sighed and shook his head. "I'll come back once I figure out how to get rid of the contract. Don't wait up, ok? You deserve to have a life after me." he said softly, kissing her forehead before letting her go and turning to walk off.

Clary just stared at the squirming dog in her arms before turning away from his retreating back.

Ben really hated leaving her like this, but he would eventually get called back and he figured the least he could do was keep her from getting hurt even more.

Clary just walked back to her apartment, remaining quiet as she went in.

Austyn had just gone back to reading his book on the couch, doing nothing more than glancing up as she came in.

Clary released Tammy then leaned against the door, staring at the floor. Silently, she slid down the door then dropped her head into her hands. She cried silently, her shoulders shaking lightly.

It fucking amazes me that parents stilll don't understand why kids kill themselves. It's not fucking rocket science you useless fucktards.

Austyn quickly tossed his book to the side and hopped over to her. "Clary? Did something happen?" he frowned, not sure what brough on her sudden mood change.

Clary shook her head, and just continued her silent crying.

Sorry. My parents are being totally fucking retarded like usual.

Austyn awkwardly hugged her, "It'll be ok, it'll all be over soon." he said softly, not entirely sure what to do.

Clary just put her forehead against her knees, her arms wrapped around her legs, crying softly.
